Clarkson University – Moore House Expansion
96,500 SF of new and renovation construction on the existing multi-wing building
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
This multi-phased, aggressively scheduled project included more than 96,500 SF of new and renovation construction on the existing multi-wing Moore House building. The project included demolition of the existing one-story center building down to its foundation, and construction of a new 27,700 SF four-story center building up from the existing foundation.
The project also included the addition of new fourth floors on the two existing three-story wings. The existing wings also underwent extensive renovation, including all systems and finishes. The project added more than 260 beds to the Moore House complex.
The project was recognized by the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) with a 2013 National Project Achievement Award in Modernization/Renovations.
